Biography
Julie M. Hertzberg is a Managing Director and the head of A&M's Claims Management Services Group, where she specializes in information management and bankruptcy case administration. She also sits on the Executive Committee for the North American Restructuring Practice. Ms. Hertzberg specifically oversees the administrative bankruptcy process from pre-filing through distribution, including preparation of the creditor matrix, drafting of the schedules and statements of financial affairs, claims reconciliation, preference analysis, lease assumption / rejection analysis, all facets of post-confirmation wind down and any other project requiring data management capabilities. She has more than 10 years of restructuring experience and has advised on numerous Chapter 11 proceedings in the context of case administration, pre-bankruptcy preparation and claims management. Ms. Hertzberg's team's most recent consulting assignments include: Lehman Brothers, Citadel Broadcasting, Visteon Corporation, Lear Corporation, Cooper Standard Automotive, The Chicago Tribune, SIRVA, Vertis and Aleris International. Ms. Hertzberg earned a J.D. from the University of New Mexico and a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia. She is also active in a number of industry organizations, including the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), INSOL International (INSOL) and the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI).
