Biography
Justin Gach is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Taxand in Washington, D.C., with experience in federal and state tax services. His primary area of concentration is with the Research Credit and Incentive Services Group. With more than 11 years of tax experience, Mr. Gach has worked on such projects as research and development tax credit studies, Section 199 calculations and IRS audit defense. His engagements involved clients across a variety of industries including manufacturing, aerospace and defense, agriculture, retail and software. Before joining A&M, Mr. Gach spent two years with PwC's private company services group in Charlotte, most recently serving as senior associate. There, he prepared corporate, individual and partnership tax returns for privately-held companies in several industries. Mr. Gach earned both a bachelor of science and business administration degree, as well as a master’s degree in accounting from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Virginia.
