Biography
Kevin Ferguson is a Senior Director with Alvarez and Marsal Financial Institutions Advisory Services in New York and is focused on transformation services within the Wealth Management sector of the Financial Services industry. Mr. Ferguson is a performance-driven financial services executive leveraging a strong understanding of complex financial concepts, capital markets, related operating dynamics and regulations that influence the strategic direction of the organization. A seasoned Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Ferguson has exceptional US Domestic and International Operating and Technology experience in support of Investment Management, Brokerage, Lending, Banking, Trust and Global Custody verticals. This includes in depth knowledge of Transaction processing, Settlement and Clearing, Client Reporting; Multi-currency operations, and Tax operations. Risk Management skills include successful implementation of new post 2008 Regulatory guidelines. Multi Market operating and regulatory breath is strong with specific experience in Canada, Bahamas, Mexico, Brazil and Switzerland in addition to the US. Prior to joining Alvarez and Marsal, Mr. Ferguson spent 20 years with UBS AG Private Bank Americas, a significant franchise of UBS AG, the world's largest Ultra High Net Worth Wealth Management provider. After a rapid succession of increasing levels of responsibility, Mr. Ferguson spent the last eight years with UBS Americas being responsible for operating oversight of several increasingly integrated Multi Currency Multi Product platforms in the US, Switzerland, Canada, Bahamas, Mexico and Brazil. An effective business partner, Mr. Ferguson worked closely with UBS Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) field facing organizations to advance strategy and deliver a unique and differentiated client and Financial Advisor experience across currencies, time zones, languages, markets and cultures. An effective collaborator and change agent, Mr. Ferguson's end-to-end orientation, program management skills and metric driven approach were central to driving success. Mr. Ferguson received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from St John's University and holds FINRA Series 24, 7, licenses.
