Konstadinos Georgiakos

Biography

Mr. Georgiakos has almost two decades of working experience within the real estate industry. His background is mostly associated with the commercial real estate sector, having worked in structured finance (senior / mezz debt and equity), NPLs restructuring / work outs, deal origination and advisory roles, in identifying new investment opportunities and in structuring / implementing complex real estate transactions. He has extensive knowledge of the Greek and SEE real estate markets along with significant transaction expertise in the UK and the U.S. Prior to joining A&M, he held a position within Grivalia REIT as an Investment and Structured Finance Director, within Eurobank Ergasias S.A. as the Head of Structured Real Estate Finance and within Credit Suisse, Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (“CMBS”) division as a Senior Associate / Transaction Manager specializing in originating, structuring and closing large real estate transactions within the U.K. and Western Europe. He was a key transaction member in the securitization of GBP 1.6 billion portfolio of 20 shopping centers throughout the U.K. Additionally, he held consulting positions with Bear Stearns & Co., Blackheath Financial LLC, ING Clarion and Fieldstone Financial Advisors in New York. Mr. Georgiakos earned a bachelor’s degree in international marketing and finance from Baruch College, New York, and a master’s degree in international real estate investments and finance from New York University. He is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).​
