Lee Maginniss

Biography

Lee Maginniss is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal in Dallas, TX. He specializes in operational improvement and supply chain management across a broad range of industries including energy, engineering / construction, healthcare / life science, consumer products, industrial products, high technology and retail industry segments. With more than 24 years of professional experience, Mr. Maginniss brings expertise in executing operational and back office improvement programs. His experience includes manufacturing, operations strategy, asset reconfiguration, distribution and transportation planning, integrated supply chain planning, inventory optimization, sales order management, business process re-engineering, order-to-cash and the selection and implementation of supporting systems. Most recently, Mr. Maginniss has led performance improvement efforts focused on the following areas: corporate-wide CAPEX, OPEX and SG and A cost takeout; asset utilization improvements, including rental equipment; operational strategy development; start-up and early stage growth support; land and accounting process and systems improvements; corporate, field and plant staff productivity; plant / office right-sizing and logistics optimization programs. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Maginniss was a Senior Manager in the Supply Chain Planning / Supply Chain Strategy practices at IBM Business Consulting Services (formerly PricewaterhouseCoopers), leading global supply chain transformation engagements across multiple industries for more than nine years.  Previously, he was a Materials Manager / Supply Chain Planner at Honeywell IAC and led Distribution and Transportation Planning solution delivery while at Manugistics. Mr. Maginniss earned a bachelor's degree in industrial systems engineering from Virginia Tech and a master's degree in industrial and management systems engineering from Arizona State University. He was awarded a Fellowship in Arizona State University's Corporate Leaders Program. Mr. Maginniss has also been a speaker at various industry conferences, including the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), the Council of Logistics Management (CLM), the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) and INFORMS.  He is fluent in Spanish and has worked extensively in Latin America and Europe.
