Lisa Darnell

Biography

Lisa Darnell is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal in Denver. She specializes in program management for large, complex initiatives. Her areas of concentration include software implementations, process improvement and organization design.With more than 16 years of experience, Ms. Darnell has worked across multiple industries with a focus on upstream and midstream oil and gas. She has assisted companies with the management and implementation of Quorum, Merrick, Enertia, Enterprise Upstream, Siebel and other software packages.Ms. Darnell’s notable assignments include serving as program manager for a revenue accounting and land administration implementation for a North American energy producer. She led the teams through multiple phases of testing, data conversions, cutover, production parallel and production deployment. She also designed and implemented an optimized organizational structure for the revenue accounting and compliance teams.Mr. Darnell also served as program manager for a production measurement and reporting effort at an independent oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) company. She led the project management office (PMO) and six work streams through an assessment and implementation of improvements spanning field operations, back office and information technology (IT). Additionally, Ms. Darnell was the engagement lead for an assessment of a major midstream company's gathering and processing accounting teams. She identified approximately $2 million in operating cost savings and outsourced a non-core function of the team to gain additional efficiencies.Most recently, Ms. Darnell led an enterprise resource planning (ERP) selection and implementation for a startup E&P established through an asset acquisition. She also led teams to define the organization's future state process for all of finance and production.Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Darnell was a manager with Hitachi Consulting in the Customer Solutions practice. While at Hitachi Consulting, she focused on customer relationship management (CRM) implementations, call center optimization, system integrations, process improvement and business intelligence within the telecommunications and oilfield services industries.Ms. Darnell earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in management information systems from Texas A&M University College Station and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
