Michael Fink

Biography

Michael Fink is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in Denver, specializing in financial process improvement and technology implementations. His primary areas of concentration are financial accounting and reporting, cost management, planning and budgeting, management reporting and billing / settlement processes. Mr. Fink has designed and deployed product cost management systems in both discrete and process manufacturing environments. He has managed complex, global ERP implementations, focusing special attention on the financial process reengineering associated with such implementations. He has built and directed large application development technology organizations, and has worked extensively with senior executives to align technology solutions with business goals and objectives. Before joining A&M, Mr. Fink was a senior director with Enron Wholesale & Retail Services, leading a technology organization focused on developing processes and systems critical to the operation of its retail power, gas and asset management businesses. He also has eight years of consulting experience in developing process and technology solutions for financial accounting, cost management, management reporting, materials management and production planning processes, primarily for global energy companies. He also served as a senior staff internal auditor with Exxon USA. Mr. Fink earned a bachelor's degree in economics and finance from Baylor University and a master's in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis, with a concentration in operations and manufacturing management.
