Biography
Michael Moser is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Financial Industry Advisory Services in Houston. With 44 years of experience, he brings expertise in credit administration, enterprise risk management, loan work-out and regulatory matters including compliance with regulatory enforcement actions. Before joining A&M, Mr. Moser successfully served as Chief Lending Officer and Chief Credit Officer for several community banks. He managed the commercial lending department for a regional bank in Houston. He spent nine years with a major Texas bank holding company supervising all Houston area loan work-outs and foreclosed asset dispositions. Mr. Moser was also directly involved in collection, bankruptcy and lender liability litigation. He aided two banks in complying with and ultimately being released from regulatory enforcement actions. He also helped to start a denovo bank and helped to build and sell two community banks. Prior to entering the banking industry, he spent nine years with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency as a National Bank Examiner in Houston. Mr. Moser earned a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from the University of Texas, Austin.
