Pamela Fast

Biography

Pamela Fast is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in Denver. She specializes in project management and implementing technology solutions to improve the performance of business processes. With 17 years of professional experience, Ms. Fast has worked across multiple industries, including telecommunications, upstream energy, midstream energy, downstream energy, oilfield services and utilities. She has assisted companies with the management and implementation of SAP and other software applications, specifically in the finance, complex services procurement, management reporting and project accounting areas. She also brings extensive experience with the development of program management processes, software selection, change management, software development life cycle, SEC reporting and GAAP accounting. Notable clients include EnCana USA, Level 3, bp, Marathon Oil, ConocoPhillips, Ultramar Diamond Shamrock, Forest Oil, Southern California Edison, Newfield Exploration and Ergon. Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Fast was with two of the Big Five Consulting firms, where she served as a leader and manager on SAP service teams. As a member of the SAP practice, she was responsible for the development of SAP process and technology solutions for clients. She has also served as an executive for a software startup company, where she was responsible for the delivery of the application to clients, as well as the development of project management standards and processes. Prior to consulting, she was with the audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Houston, where she performed audit engagements for both public and private companies. Ms. Fast earned bachelor's degrees in management and psychology from Texas A&M University, and a master’s of business administration, with a concentration in accounting, from the University of Houston. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Texas and a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
