Biography
Pierre Boldt is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement group in Los Angeles. He specializes in consulting, as well as line management across a range of industries, including automotive, electronics, heavy, high-tech, among others. His key areas of expertise are process improvement and engineered solutions, financial analysis, strategic implementation, as well as change, turnaround and interim management. With over 20 years of consulting experience, Mr. Boldt has managed process improvement and process reengineering initiatives, as well as a series of high-profile restructuring and turnaround successes. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Boldt was a Principal at Arthur D. Little, Inc. where he was instrumental in building and leading their private equity practice. Some of his most notable recent client projects include: redesigning and implementing a new Order-to-Delivery process; managing a project for a front-end process redesign; managing a probability-of-survival due diligence for the German government; leading a competitive assessment and redevelopment of a worldwide manufacturing technologies strategy; and serving in an executive management capacity in a corporate merger / process integration for a client after an acquisition of a complementary juvenile products business.Prior to Arthur D. Little, Inc., Mr. Boldt was a Director at Polycon Services, where he focused on process performance analysis and improvement of various clients, including Evenflo and Battenfeld Gloucester Engineering. Prior to Polycon, Mr. Boldt was a Senior Principal at Droege & Company, where he worked on numerous operational improvement engagements across various industries, including automotive, pharmaceutical and medical / surgical devices.Mr. Boldt earned a master’s degree in business administration in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a master’s degree in mechanical / electrical engineering from FH Augsburg. Mr. Boldt is fluent in English, German and French.
