Biography
Rob Casburn is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Taxand's Compensation & Benefits Practice in Dallas. Mr. Casburn provides executive compensation consulting, including issues related to golden parachute rules, stock options, restricted stock, deferred compensation, the one million dollar deduction limitation and global compensation strategies.He assists with the review and design of both equity and non-equity compensation programs, performing market analysis to align compensation with a company’s business strategies, and evaluating the tax and accounting ramifications of compensation. Mr. Casburn also has significant experience helping companies in bankruptcy develop and design key employee incentive programs (KEIPs) and key employee retention programs (KERPs).Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Casburn was an accounting analyst with Michaels Stores. Mr. Casburn earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting (summa cum laude) from The University of North Texas. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
