Biography
Ron Hunt is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in Houston, where he specializes in leading and delivering business transformation and technology solutions. His primary areas of concentration are driving business improvements through the analysis, design and implementation of business process enhancements, organizational change and the practical application of technology. With more than 35 years of consulting experience, Mr. Hunt has developed information technology strategies, assessed business and technology alternatives, designed and implemented business process improvements, and deployed complex global enterprise-wide technology solutions. Mr. Hunt has experience in several industries including energy, retail, governmental, financial services and manufacturing. He has not only worked on business consulting projects, but also on restructuring projects including two large complex restructuring projects. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hunt served as Managing Director and partner of BearingPoint and Arthur Andersen. Mr. Hunt was also part of the executive management of McCord Exploration Co. and the Chief Financial Officer of Marco Machinery Co. He also owned and operated a temporary employment service, Pro Image Temporaries, in Tampa, Florida, which he founded and was able to achieve a successful operating status prior to selling the company to a national personnel agency and returning to Houston. Mr. Hunt earned both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Texas, and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
