Biography
Sandeip Khanvilkar is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal in Portland, OR and is the Analytics Leader for the firm’s Insight Center, specializing in quantitative analysis and data modeling, SG&A benchmarking, Six Sigma and research. He has over two decades of cross-functional experience including manufacturing, big-four consulting and boutique-specialty consulting services. His accomplishments include designing and leading analytics centers of excellence (CoEs), performance measurement and process improvement, market and social research. Notable engagements include: developing and leading the Contact Center Analytics team for The Standard Insurance Company in Portland. The team develops and maintains a comprehensive framework for measurement across the contact center, and provides sophisticated models to identify operational improvement opportunities through advanced data-driven analytics. Mr. Khanvilkar was instrumental in creating and leading the CoE for Deloitte’s Global Benchmarking Center in Hyderabad, India. The center was developed to provide executives with industry relevant metrics and insight across multiple sectors. This information was delivered through ongoing benchmark studies in areas such as sales, general and administrative (SG&A) finance and accounting, supply chain, information technology, human resources and operations. He also served as a Director of Analytics for The Hackett Group, where he was instrumental in setting up and leading their global quantitative analysis and research teams, based out of India. This CoE was responsible for SG&A benchmark database analysis and secondary research. Mr. Khanvilkar earned a bachelor of science in statistics with specialization in operations research from the University of Mumbai – India.
