Biography
Steve Kraus is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Healthcare Industry Group in San Francisco, specializing in restructuring and financial advisory. His primary areas of concentration are financial analysis, treasury and cash management. At A&M Mr. Kraus has been responsible for financial oversight, performance measurement and improvement and cash management for a diverse clientele within the healthcare field. Mr. Kraus also has experience working with clients operating under Chapter 11 Bankruptcy regulations. Before joining A&M, he spent three years with the Investment Management group at PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Francisco, most recently serving as senior associate. In this role, he led financial reporting and controls testing engagements with some of the West Coast's largest hedge funds. Mr. Kraus earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Washington and a master's degree in professional accounting from the University of Washington. He is a licensed CPA.
