Biography
Tanner Flood is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Taxand, LLC in Houston, focusing on advising companies on federal and state income tax matters with a concentration in federal tax planning, compliance, provision, and financial reporting. He has served clients in the energy, manufacturing, insurance, air transportation, finance and real estate industries. Mr. Flood has advised multinational public, non-public, corporate, and flow-through entities with federal, state, and international income tax matters including ASC 740, compliance, financial reporting, tax planning and corporate tax department operations. He also has experience related to Sarbanes Oxley internal control documentation and compliance, as well as knowledge in tax provision software assessments and implementations. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Flood worked in the Private Company Services group of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Houston. Mr. Flood earned his bachelor’s degree in business, with a concentration in accounting, and a master's degree in taxation from Texas Tech University.
