Biography
Ms. Teresa McMahon is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in Chicago. She has deep experience in working with businesses in the functional areas of corporate finance and accounting, treasury, planning & analysis, operations management, IT and human capital. With more than 30 years of experience, Ms. McMahon is a proven leader having led performance improvement initiatives, large scale merger integration initiatives, ERP system selections and served in interim management roles. She has worked across a variety of industries including software, equipment leasing, auto finance, telecommunications, litigation discovery, professional services and manufacturing. Prior to joining A&M, Ms. McMahon was a Managing Director with Navigant Consulting and FTI Consulting. She was the Co-founder of ReeseMcMahon, LLC, a consulting firm specialized in operational performance improvement, bankruptcy and restructuring, transactional due diligence and system selection services. She was a CFO for Storage Technology DSD, Prime Capital Corporation, and Financial Investment Associates. Ms. McMahon earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from University of Illinois with high honors. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Insolvency Restructuring Advisor. Ms. McMahon currently serves on the Board of Directors for Blessings in a Backpack and is a member of the finance committee and chair of the fund development committee. She has served as a board member and finance committee member for the YWCA of Greater Metropolitan Chicago and for the Girls Scouts of Chicago. She is a member of the Chicago Finance Exchange and the Economic Club of Chicago.
