Jon Ahern

Biography

Jon Ahern is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations in Denver, where he specializes in financial, economic and accounting issues related to disputes and investigations. He brings expertise in damages analyses, causation analyses, complex data analyses and general litigation support. With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Ahern has assisted corporate clients and counsel with diverse matters related to telecommunications, utilities, manufacturing, media, insurance, financial institutions, technology, mining, natural resources, real estate, government contracts, employment and other industries. His experience includes providing expert witness testimony, supporting expert witnesses and performing privileged consulting roles on assignments.Mr. Ahern brings broad experience on matters involving commercial damages, business valuations, accounting investigations, intellectual property damages and causation analyses.  He has also provided expert witness testimony on matters before federal courts, state courts and arbitration panels. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Ahern was a Director with Navigant Consulting focusing on commercial damages, forensic accounting investigations and other litigation support. Previously, he was with Tucker Alan Inc. and Peterson Consulting. Mr. Ahern earned a bachelor's degree in economics, with an emphasis in accounting and finance, magna cum laude, from Colorado College. He has completed additional coursework in accounting at Metro State College of Denver. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed by the State of Colorado.
