Biography

Mr. David W. Meline has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Amgen Inc. since July 21, 2014. Mr. Meline served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance at 3M Company from April 1, 2011 to June 9, 2014. He served as a Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of 3M Company from September 1, 2008 to April 1, 2011. He served as Senior Vice President of 3M Company from 2011 to June 09, 2014. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of General Motors European Operation at Motors Liquidation Company from August 2004 to July 2009 and served as its Vice President of GM North America from January 1, 2007 to July 2009, Chief Financial Officer GM North America from January 1, 2007 to July 2009, Chief Financial Officer of General Motors Europe until July 2009 and chief financial officer of General Motors' GM Daewoo Auto & Technology Co venture until July 2009. Mr. Meline served as a Chief Financial Officer of North America, Detroit, Mich., of General Motors Corp. since 2007; Chief Financial Officer of Europe, Zurich, Switzerland since 2004; Chief Financial Officer, GM Daewoo Joint Venture, Seoul, Korea since 2001; Chief Financial Officer, GM Brazil, Sao Paulo, Brazil since 1996; Chief Financial Officer, GM Kenya, Nairobi, Kenya since 1993 and Corporate Treasurer's Office, New York, N.Y., at General Motors Corp since 1986. He began his career at&T Corporation as a Product Design Engineer. He served as Summer Intern, Engineering Department, Copy Machine Business at 3M since 1979. He has been a Non Executive Director of ABB Ltd since April 21, 2016. He serves as a Director of TRW Automotive Inc. He served as an Independent Director of TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. (ZF TRW Automotive Holdings Corp) since February 12, 2014 until May 15, 2015. Mr. Meline earned a Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University in 1980, a Master's Degree in Economics from the London School of Economics in 1985 and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Chicago in 1986
