Biography
Dr Jerzy Paweł Gawor (1966) graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Agriculture in Wroclaw in April 1992. Co-owner and co-founder of Arka Veterinary Clinic in Cracow. In 1995 he defended at the Chair and Clinic of Veterinary Surgery of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, AR in Wroclaw, his doctoral dissertation entitled "Treatment of pulp disease in a dog by the monocoque method". Received the title of veterinary surgeon in 1997. In January 2009 he became a member of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry in order to receive the Diplomate, American Veterinary Dental College in 2015 after passing the exams. He has been practicing veterinary dentistry since the beginning of his career. He participates in many events related to the promotion of this discipline. Author of more than 80 publications and presentations in the field of maxillofacial surgery and small animal dentistry. Former President of the European Veterinary Dental Society and President of the Senior Polish Association of Veterinary Surgeons of Small Animals, since 2008 Member of the Board of Directors of the Federation of European Animal Veterinary Associations.
