Biography
Dr.Michael has an environmental scientist specialising in air quality and odour issues with over 25 years experience in the field. I like to stir things up and speak and publish frequently on air quality issues, challenging accepted approaches.My role at Arup is leading the environmental consulting group in London and am the technical lead on all our air quality and odour assessment work.After starting my career in the gas industry as a chemical engineer, I began to concentrate on the environment and particularly on the use and abuse of mathematical modelling for environmental assessment. I am a founder member of the Institute of Air Quality Management and was one of the first members to be appointed as a Fellow.
