Prof. W. Ehrenhalt

Biography

Architect, he graduated with honours Cracow University of Technology, the Faculty of Architecture. During few decades of working he acquired experience in the management of companies in different sectors and at different stages of development.Since more than 10 years he has been engaged in investment processes, especially in changing local plans of spatial development. In recent years, he has been constantly associated with investments in the field of ​​renewable energy. In 2007-2010, he was the General Director of “FINADVICE Poland”, Swiss and Austrian consulting firm in the energy industry, related to the Energie AG Austria. He was responsible for the development of wind projects and personally led six of them, of a total capacity about 500 MW. He was also GB Corporation Board advisor, the French company, which is one of the most important wind farms developer in Poland. Mr Ehrenhalt was responsible for projects development, especially for supervising changes in site development plans. He received many prizes for his professional achievements, for example the European Medal awarded by the Office of the Committee for European Integration (UrzÄ…d Komitetu Integracji Europejskiej) (1998) and Gold Statue of Polish Business Leader (2001). He is an active member of the organizations from the renewable energy sector – for example as a vice president of Renewable Energy Association, as The Steering Committee member of Polish Wind Energy Association, also as a member of Associations of Power Industry Private Employers and a member of the Business Centre Club convent. As the President of the Board, Mr Ehrenhalt aim at intensive development of Conerga, both in the area of wind energy, as well as in other sectors of renewable energy, such as biogas and solar panels.
