Prof. Bill Neuenfeldt

Biography

Bill Neuenfeldt is a partner in Bain & Company's New York office and the regional managing director (RMD) of the Americas. He is a leader in Bain's Private Equity, Technology and Strategy practices, where he advises clients on full potential transformations, corporate and business unit strategy and M&A due diligence. In his current role as RMD, Bill oversees strategy and operations in North and South America and works closely with his counterparts in EMEA and APAC, as well as the firm's practices and partners, to build the firm globally. In addition to his client leadership roles, he previously held several firm leadership roles including head of global consultant recruiting from 2006 to 2009 and managing partner of the New York office from 2009 to 2015. He has also worked in Bain's San Francisco and Los Angeles offices. Bill has appeared as a featured guest on CNBC Power Lunch and BusinessWeek TV, was profiled in BusinessWeek and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times and Forbes. He also co-authored Everyday Moments of Truth, a study on women's career development that was featured at the 2015 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos. In 2015, he was named to Consulting magazine's annual list of “Top 25 Consultants” in recognition of his client and firm leadership. Prior to joining Bain in 1997, Bill served as a captain in the United States Air Force, where he was a program manager for advanced technology programs.
