An employee of the Institute of Optoelectronics, Military University of Technology. Received honorary doctorate from the Lodz University of Technology. Honorary member of the Polish Liquid Crystal Society. Current scientific activity: Chairman of scientific committees of the following conferences: - International Liquid Crystal Conference - International Solid State Crystals - Physics of Semiconductors Member of the Committee of Crystallography of the Polish Academy of Sciences Member of the International Union of Crystallography Since 1995 member of the Editorial Committee of the Journal of Technical Physics
