Maciej Tybura

Biography

"Maciej Tybura assumed the position of President of the Board of CIECH S.A. of CIECH S.A. on 22 July 2015. He has been associated with CIECH Group since July 2014, first as a member of the Supervisory Council, and since November 2014 as a member of the Board. He graduated from PoznaÅ„ University of Economics with the Specialization Finance and Business Accounting. He has also completed graduate studies in MBA (WrocÅ‚aw University of Economics) and Management by Costs (University of Business in WrocÅ‚aw). At the beginning of his career, Maciej Tybura was associated with the Hochtief Group and the Wrozamet company (1997 – 2002), where he dealt with strategic planning, investments, and controlling. He then performed several management functions in companies belonging to the KGHM Group. From 2008 to 2012, he served as Vice-President of the Management Board of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. He has been a member of numerous Supervisory Councils: CIECH S.A., KGHM TFI S.A., KGHM International Ltd, KGHM Metraco S.A., Tauron Polska Energia S.A., Telefonia Dialog S.A., Pol-Miedź Trans Sp. z o.o., Walcownia Metali Nieżelaznych Sp. z o.o. [Non-ferrous Metal Rolling Mill] in Gliwice, and MCC&Fagor Electrodomesticos Group. He currently serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Council of PHP Mercus."
