Biography
Carl Blake is the CTO for EMIS and heads up the entire technology group with worldwide teams primarily based in Colombia, Bulgaria, Poland and the Philippines. He started with EMIS in 1995 working in Poland and Hungary to help expand EMIS across Central and Eastern Europe. In 1997, Carl moved to EMIS headquarters in Boston to focus on software architecture and application development. Carl, a keen proponent of open source software and cloud, built many of EMIS's first applications on the LAMP stack. In 2012, he led EMIS’ migration to AWS cloud.
