Biography

Dr Wieslaw Bienkowski is a graduate of the Military Medical Academy. He received his diploma in 1976. In 1985, he obtained his second degree of specialisation in general surgery. The next step in his career was to receive his second degree of specialisation in plastic surgery in 1990. He did his specialisation at the Department of Plastic Surgery and Burn Treatment of CSK WAM in Warsaw under the guidance of Prof. Jerzy Struzyna. He honed his skills at the Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery of the 10th Military Hospital in Bydgoszcz, where he had worked until 1992. Then, he started a private practice, where he presently sees and treat patients. He is a member of the Military Medical Chamber in Warsaw. He regularly participates in courses and trainings in the fields of plastic surgery and cosmetic gynaecology. In 2012, he attended a cosmetic gynaecology course in Warsaw taught by Dr Red Alinsod from The Laguna Laser Centre (Laguna Beach). Dr Red Alinsod was one of the first American surgeons to treat incontinence using synthetic tapes as well as innovative plastic surgery techniques to treat female genital mutilation. That same year, Dr Bienkowski deepened his knowledge of fat grafting techniques under the supervision of Dr Sydney Reese Coleman in Prague. He gained experience in the field of plastic surgery in Polanica Zdroj, Warsaw and Naleczow. Improving his skills enables him to systematically implement new surgical techniques in his clinic, attracting even more patients.

Research Interest

Dr Bienkowski specializes in plastic surgery. The procedures he carries out include: rhinoplasty, pinnaplasty, blepharoplasty, and plastic surgery of the breasts (augmentation, reduction, and lift). He also performs rejuvenating facial treatments such as volumetric facelift, endoscopic brow lift (Endotine), and mid-face lift using hyaluronic threads (Silhouette lift). He contours the silhouette with liposuction and abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). He performs cosmetic gynaecology procedures, such as labiaplasty. He also helps men with gynecomastia and those wanting to enlarge their penis using hyaluronic acid-based preparations.
