Biography
Adam Torbicki was the Vice President of the European Society of Cardiology guidelines Coordinator diagnostic treatment of acute pulmonary embolism European Society of Cardiology published in 2000 and 2008. He was the coordinator of Polish pulmonary embolism and pulmonary hypertension ZATPOL and PHPOL. He chaired the Working Group on Pulmonary Circulation of the European Society of Cardiology (1992 -1994 and 2004 - 2006). He was the President of the Polish Cardiac Society from 2004 to 2007).
