Biography
Barbara Kalina-Faska MD. Ph.D. – specialist in pediatrics and endocrinology; clinician with over 20 years of professional experience; Member of the National Coordination Team for Growth Hormone Application; in the years 2005 – 2009 Secretary of the Polish Society for Pediatric Endocrinology. Currently she is supervising the Therapeutic Health Programme of the National Health Fund in Pediatric Endocrinology. She treats children suffering from Prader-Willi syndrome, trisomy 21, growth impairment (including growth impairment in children born with low birth weight), thyroid dysfunctions; she performs ultrasound examinations of the thyroid gland and testicles (certificate of the Polish Society of Ultrasonography)
