Biography
MSc Animal Sciences with specialisation Animal Breeding, and Farm Economics, PhD, Animal Breeding and Farm Economics from Wageningen University. Head of animal breeding and genomics centre of Wageningen University and coordinator of European Master in Animal Breeding and Gnetics. Member of research committee of European Graduate School for Animal Breeding and Genomics. Dean of Sciences of Wagenngen University. With effect from January 1, 2016, he has joined Hendrix Genetics as Chief Innovation & Technology Officer.
Research Interest
Responsible for the global R&D strategy and activities of Hendrix Genetics. I will lead Hendrix Genetics Research and Technology Center and Breeding IT department, as well as elevate the R&D programs for all Hendrix Genetics’ Business Units in close cooperation with the respective R&D Directors.
