Biography
Jacek Baranowski has been associated for many years with the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw , where he became doctoral student under the direction of Leonardo Sosnowski and habilitated. At present, its permanent place of employment is Institute of Electronic Materials Technology in Warsaw (ITME). He has been researching graphene since 2007. His scientific output includes more than 200 publications in international journals, which have been cited in scientific literature more than 3500 times, and his index H (according to the Web of Science ) is 31. In his scientific career he has held long-term research internships, among others. at Stanford University in the USA, St. Andrews Universityin the United Kingdom, Berkeley University in the USA and Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris. He is a laureate of the Polish Academy of Sciences . Maria SkÅ‚odowska-Curie (1991). He is the project manager of the GRAFMET National Center for Research and Development on the technology of graphene growth in metals and implemented by the Institute of Electronic Materials Technology in Warsaw together with SecoWarwick.
