Biography
graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, University of Warsaw, professor at the University of Warsaw .Since 1968 he has been working at the Department of Solid State Physics, Institute of Experimental Physics , Faculty of Physics , head of this unit for the years 2009-2013 and President of the Institute's Scientific Council for the years 1999-2012 [1] . Specialty: solid state physics - semiconductor research using optical methods. Author of more than 90 original papers in international journals [2] . Main research directions: exciton and polariton phenomena in semiconductor volumetric and low-dimensional semiconductor structures ( quantum wells and dots , photonic structures), semiconductor semiconductor magnetospectroscopy . Between 1975-76, 1985-86, 1988-89 chercheur associe and professeur invite in the Groupe de Physique de l'Ecole Normale Superieure , Paris and Groupe d'Etudes des Semiconducteurs , USTL , Montpellier.
