Research Interest
Although our current research is mainly focused on transition metal complexes, with special emphasis on olefin metathesis catalysts (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2002, 41, 4038; Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2007, 46, 6786), our specialization cannot be called a truly organometallic or coordination chemistry. Instead, our research is mainly concerned on application of these complexes in organic synthesis of natural products and pharmaceutically relevant compounds, in sustainable production (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2007, 46, 6786), applications of aqueous media (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2009, 48, 442), etc.
