"David S. Pottruck has been a director of Intel since 1998, and is Chairman of the Compensation Committee of the board. Mr. Pottruck is chairman and chief executive officer of Red Eagle Ventures Inc., a San Francisco private equity firm. Mr. Pottruck also serves as a senior fellow in the Wharton School of Business Center for Leadership and Change Management. In July of 2004, Mr. Pottruck resigned after a 20-year career having served as president, chief executive officer and a member of the Board of the Charles Schwab Corp."
