Biography
Dr Marek Klar graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice. After graduating in 1992, he began working at city hospital in Katowice Bogucice, initially working as an intern and then as an assistant. Currently, he is head of the surgery department. Dr Klar's professional interests focus on perioperative medicine. In 2001, he received a second degree of specialisation in general surgery. Three years later, he specialized in emergency medicine. In 2012, he received the title of specialist in surgical oncology.
Research Interest
He completed specialized courses in radiodiagnosis, surgical oncology, and cancer pathology organized by the Centre of Oncology M. Sklodowska-Curie Memorial Institute in Krakow He received a certificate authorizing him to use Ascepion lasers in aesthetic medicine. He regularly participates in congresses and conferences organized by the Polish Society for Vascular Surgery, the Polish Society of Surgical Oncology, and the Polish Society for Emergency Medicine.
