Biography

Mr. Rajmund Ireneusz Martyniuk has been a Vice President of the Management Board at Polpharma S.A (formerly Zaklady Farmaceutyczne Polpharma S.A) since May 2012 and serves as its Member of Management Board and President of The Management Board of Trade Office. Mr. Martyniuk served as Member of Management Board at Polfa Warszawa S.A. since April 20, 2012. Mr. Martyniuk is responsible for the overall commercial activities of the Polpharma Group, both in Poland and in foreign markets. He serves as Sales & Marketing Director at Polpharma S.A. Mr. Martyniuk has been associated with the pharmaceutical industry for 20 years. He began his professional career with SmithKline Beecham. From 1999 to 2003 he worked for Pfizer, at first as a Sales Manager and subsequently as a Sales Director. In 2003 he joined Astra Zeneca assuming the position of Sales Director; then became Director for Sales Force Efficiency and New Products Development. Since 2006 Mr. Martyniuk has been associated with Polpharma and served as its Sales Director since 2007, responsible for the division of marketing of Rx medicines. Since 2008, he was Vice President of the Management Board of Polpharma Trade Office. Mr. Martyniuk is responsible for optimization of marketing and sales processes, improvement of their efficiency and effective marketing communication. He participates in the activities of Programme Council of Polish National Sales Awards. In February 2009 “Brief” magazine awarded him the title of “Sales and Marketing Man of the Year”. He serves on the Program Council of the Polish National Sales Award. In February 2009, he named "the Man of the Year in Marketing and Sales" by Brief magazine. He is a medical doctor, graduated from Pomeranian Medical University and also has an MBA degree.
