Biography
Dr. Jacek Mlynarski is the Professor of Chemistry in Jagiellonian University. His Educational Qualifications includes: PhD, Institute of Organic Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, 2000; Post-doc, MPI, Mülheim a.d. Ruhr, Germany, 2001–2002 (Professor Alois Fürstner), Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship, 2001; Habilitation, Institute of Organic Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, 2006, Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry, Jagiellonian University, 2009. Research of MÅ‚ynarski group in broad terms focuses on organic synthesis and the discovery of new reaction methodology, in particular on stereoselective and catalytic asymmetric reactions. Inventing new strategies for the development of perfect chemical reactions, as part of the green chemistry concept, is the ultimate goal of our research.
