Biography
Dr. Marek Frankowicz is the Professor of Cheimstry in Jagiellonian University. He is experienced as Post-Doctoral Fellow at Free University of Brussels (1981–82) and Tokyo University (1982–83), Lecturer at University Paris 6 (1988–90). He is the Member of the Advisory Board of the international journal “Interdisciplinary Description of Complex Systems†(INDECS). His current research interests includes Stochastic dynamics of nonlinear chemical systems, foundations of thermodynamics, applications of complexity theory (complex adaptive systems, active walks in adaptive landscapes) to natural and social systems; Operations research; Modelling of dynamics of higher education reforms in Europe.
