Biography
Dr. Zofia Stasicka is the Professor of Chemistry in Jagiellonian University. Her Education and Professional Career includes: MSc,1955, Jagiellonian University; PhD, 1964; Habilitation 1974; Assistant Professor,1979;Associate Professor, 1987; Full Professor of Inorganic Chemistry 1995; Vice-director of the Institute of Chemistry at the Jagiellonian University, 1978–1981; Vice-Dean,1981, and Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University, 1982–1987;Head of the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, 1987–1992; Head of the Chemical Education Department, 1987–2004; President of the Chemical Terminology Commission of the Polish Chemical Society, 2001–2006; President of Supervisory Board of the PROCHEMIA Foundation, 1996–present; Emeritus Professor, since 2004.
