Dr Pr Rataj

Biography

Dr Piotr Rataj, a surgeon, graduated from the Wroclaw Medical University in 1994 receiving the title of medical doctor. Then, he completed postgraduate studies at the Specialist Hospital at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration in Wroclaw. In 1995, he was appointed assistant at the Department of General and Traumatic Surgery at the L. Rydygier Specialist Hospital in Wroclaw. The next step in his career was obtaining first degree of specialisation in general and traumatic surgery in 1997. In 1998-2000, he interned at the Department of General and Plastic Surgery at the Wroclaw Medical University Hospital. In 2000, he worked at the Department of Plastic Surgery in a voluntary capacity. In 2001, he practiced as a senior assistant at a leading private clinic specializing in plastic and aesthetic surgery in Wroclaw. In 2002, he began working with the Kolasinski Clinic in Poznan, which specialises in hair transplants. A year later, he earned a second degree of specialisation in general and aesthetic surgery. That same year he opened a private plastic and aesthetic surgery clinic in Wroclaw. In 2004, he teamed up with Dr Tadeusz Myczkowski to hone his skills at his private plastic and aesthetic surgery clinic. Two years later, Dr Rataj, with his wife Dr Aneta Madej, opened a modern clinic for plastic and aesthetic surgery in Wroclaw. He is a member of the Regional Medical Council (Dolnośląska Izba Lekarska) in Wroclaw.
