Biography
Agnieszka Sobczyńska-Tomaszewska Graduated from the Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw (1997). Distinguished Doctorate in the field of medical science for medical biology in the Biostructure Center, Medical University of Warsaw (2003). Laboratory diagnostician (2003) with a specialization in the field of laboratory medical genetics (2006). To 2010 the Head of Laboratory of Molecular Diagnostics of Infertility and Hereditary Diseases in Medical Genetics Department, Institute of Mother and Child. In the years 2009-2012. Head of Private Health Care Center GENOMED. Leader of the Reference Laboratories Network of Polish Society of Human Genetics in 2006-2009. From 2003 to 2010. Polish representative at the European Molecular Genetics Quality Network. Member of the Polish Society of Human Genetics, Polish Cystic Fibrosis Society, International Neonatal Screening Society. Co-author of reports for the Ministry of Health, as well as numerous publications in Polish and English. Executive and manager of the research projects of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Agnieszka Sobczyńska-Tomaszewska has broad interest in microbiology and her work based on human genetics.
