Biography
"Doctorate in physics he received in November 2006 at the University of Warsaw. Then he held research internships at the Institute of Colloids and Interfaces im. Max Planck in Germany and National Institutes of Health in the United States. At the PAN Institute of Physics he has employed since November 2012. his current academic interests lie in the field of soft-matter physics and molecular, supramolecular and cellular biophysics. Over the last years I worked on over the years - stability of multi-domain and multimode proteins, - the interaction of bio-molecules with lipid membranes, - conformational changes of multi-domain and partially unstructured proteins, - methods of constructing conformational assemblages based on data from low-resolution experiments (SAXS, DEER, FRET); - molecular mechanisms for regulating the activity of PKC, ERK2 and p38 protein kinases, - the mechanics of endosome budding and the ESCRT protein complex controlling this process, - automatic collection and sequestration of adhesion protein complexes in immune synapse, - phase separation in multi-component films, - adhesion of cellular and synthetic membranes.
