Biography
" 2014 - now - Assistant Professor at the Environmental Laboratory of Biological Physics, Institute of Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences, responsible for the synthesis and characterization of multifunctional nanostructures based on up-converting NaYF4 doped ionic nanoparticles, their biofunctionality and testing on live cells for use as markers and drugs in cancer diseases. Work is also being performed and characterized by nanocrystals of copper-ionged copper A2B6 semiconductor compounds. 2008-2014 - Doctorate ""Design and characterization of biosensors based on colloidal nanoparticles for applications in biology and medicine"" was realized in the Biological Physics Team of the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw under the project ""Quantum semiconductor nanostructures for biological and medical applications - development and commercialization of new generalization of molecular diagnostic devices based on new semiconductor devices in Poland "". His doctorate was awarded by the Scientific Council of the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. 2011-2012 - Post-graduate studies in forensics, forensics and related sciences within the Center for Judicial Sciences of the University of Warsaw. The diploma work ""Natural and synthetic fibers as forensic traces"" was conducted under the supervision of prof. Andrzej Czubaja from the Faculty of Biology, Warsaw University. 2005-2008 - Graduating from the Faculty of Chemistry at Warsaw University. Specialty: general chemistry. Master's thesis ""Study of antioxidant activity of selected neurotransmitters"" was performed in the laboratory of Physicochemical Fundamentals of Chemical Technology under the direction of . G. Litvinenko. The subject of the study was kinetics of catecholamine and neurotransmitter reactions with radicals and kinetics of autoxidation of lipids inhibited by these compounds. A synergistic effect was also investigated between catecholamines and PMHC (tocopherol analog) 2003-2005 - Studies at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, University of Opole, Opole. Specialty: Basic and Applied Chemistr"
Research Interest
"Specialist in the field of nanochemistry and reactive oxygen species chemistry, in addition to combining chemistry, physics and biology in their research. "
