Biography
Dr. Jadwiga Wardas graduated from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Department of Biology and Earth Sciences, Poland with an MSc in biology. In 1988 I was granted a fellowship from the National Academy of Sciences, USA and I stayed at the Department of Neurology, Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia (1988, 2.5 month) and at the Department of Pharmacology, Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC, USA – 1988-1989 (1 year); She hold a Ph.D. (1991) in Life Sciences from the Institute of Pharmacology, Polish Academy of Sciences, Krakow. I was qualified as Associate Professor at the Department of Neuropsychopharmacolgy, Institute of Pharmacology, Polish Academy of Sciences, Krakow (2004, Habilitation).
