Biography
Dominique Muir qualified as an RGN at the Nottingham School of Nursing. She then spent a number of years working as a Staff Nurse in Oxford, Stoke Mandeville and Nottingham City Hospitals where she specialised in Burns and Plastic Surgery before leaving the NHS in 1996.She joined Quintiles as a Nurse Advisor in 2005, a role in which she supported a variety of different programs tailored to patients in both primary and secondary care, spending time with patients in hospital and at home. She also mentored new members of staff and offered education to staff members around specific drugs and how they should be administered.
Research Interest
Dominique Mui is responsible for leading teams in support of patients, physicians and pharma to improve patient care and outcomes. She has broad interests in clinical nursing, pharmacy and patient care. She recently won the Clinical Nursing Category at the 2016 Pharma Field Awards.
