Biography
Working as a professor at University od Warsaw, Poland. Completed his PhD in Chemistry. Andrzej Aleksander CzerwiÅ„ski born on 30.03.1946 in Maczków / Haren, in Germany (Polish zone in Germany created in 1945 by the First Armored Division of General StanisÅ‚aw Maczek, in which his father served), high school. WÅ‚adysÅ‚awa IV graduated in 1964. He has been involved in chemistry for over fifty years. He completed his master's thesis on steel corrosion in 1969 at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Warsaw. After graduating, he worked as a technologist in galvanizing plant of Fabryka Samochodów Osobowych in Warsaw and in the Institute of Nuclear Chemistry in Åšwierk near Otwock. In 1971 he took up doctoral studies at the University of Warsaw, completed in 1974 with the defense of his doctoral thesis, the subject of which was closely related to fuel cells. After the defense he was employed at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Warsaw, where in 1989 he habilitated and then in 1993 he was appointed an associate professor. In 1999 he became a professor, and in 2004 he was a full professor at the University of Warsaw. Conducted for over 25 years, lectures at the University include issues such as: nuclear chemistry, physical chemistry, electrochemistry, contemporary energy sources. Currently, prof. A. CzerwiÅ„ski manages the Laboratory of Electrochemical Energy Sources of the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Warsaw. From the year 1999 until 2015 he was also a professor at the Institute of Industrial Chemistry in Warsaw, where since 2003 he was head of the Department of Electrochemistry, and in the years 2007 - Working as a professor at University od Warsaw, Poland.
