Design, preparation and characterization of solar cells based on TiO 2 and ZnO with a solid semiconductor sensitizer (CdS, CdSe, PbS, PbSe) Design, preparation and testing of the properties of composite materials based on conductive polymers (polythiophene) and semiconductor nanostructures (CdS, ZnO) for photovoltaic cell applications. Optimization of the synthesis conditions of hybrid systems in order to obtain the highest efficiency of light energy conversion into electricity. The use of conductive polymers, (poly (1,8-diaminonaphthalene) and poly (1,8-diaminocarbzole) to remove heavy metal ions from solutions, investigating the mechanisms of these processes. Electrosynthesis, structure, morphology and electrochemical and spectroscopic properties of electrodes modified with conductive polymers (eg derivatives of polycarbazole, polythiophene, polyaniline, titanocene derivatives of polypyrrole and PEDOT) Synthesis of hybrid materials based on conducting polymers and transition metal nanoparticles for applications in catalysis and electrocatalysis.
