Research Interest
research interests are in the field of inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, materials science, electrochemistry and physical chemistry. In particular, my PhD thesis. Properties of electrodes modified with organotile compounds and gold clusters, concerned the preparation and electrochemical characterization of thin layers composed of organotile compounds and clusters of gold deposited on solid electrodes. The research I conducted to clarify the effect of organotil coating on the physicochemical properties of gold nanostructures is very important both from the cognitive point of view and for potential applications in sensor technology and molecular electronics. After my PhD, my interests were directed towards biogas, and in particular to the application of various nanomaterials: nanotubes, carbon nanoparticles, fullerenes, boron doped diamonds, as electrodes in enzymatic bioavailables. Biohazards are alternative energy sources, and their potential uses are of great hope because they can be used to power small devices such as sensors, meters such as temperature and medical instruments, but also as self-supplying biomedical devices.
