Biography
Świtała Marcin is Studied at Veterinary Faculty AR in Wroclaw graduated in 1975, obtaining a diploma of veterinary surgeon. During his studies he actively participated in the life of student organizations. cultural activities and work in the academic circle. In 1975 he began work at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, where he is still working today, currently occupying the position of an associate professor. The degree of doctorate in veterinary science was obtained in 1980 on the basis of the dissertation The relationship of plasma catecholamines to 11-hydroxycorticoids released during pharmacologic hypertension. In 1992, he obtained a postdoctoral associate degree in pharmacology from the field of pharmacology on the basis of the habilitation thesis. Comparison of immunostimulatory properties of small doses of mechlorethamine with levamisole in laboratory and clinical studies
Research Interest
The main research directions, which were dealt with by prof. Experimental pharmacology of vegetative system and hormones of the adrenal cortex, immunofarmacology of anti-inflammatory drugs and synthetic and natural immunomodulators, veterinary clinical immunofarmacology, immunotoxicology of antibiotics.
