Juan Miguel Martín Iglesias

Biography

  Began his professional career in 1992 in the Crédit Lyonnais bank where he worked in the corporate and investment banking sectors in Portugal and in France. Between 2000 and 2006, he carried out various roles in the management of Galp Energia, across the financial and corporate strategy fields and at the LNG business unit. In 2006, he was a co-founder of SGC Energia, a company specialising in the production of renewable and synthetic fuels with its current headquarters in Houston, the United States, where he was an Executive Board member with responsibility for management and finance through to June 2016. In 2005, he became Vice-President of the European Gas Infrastructure Association with its headquarters in Brussels, Belgium and between 2008 and 2010, Director of the Portuguese Biodiesel Producers Association, with responsibilities relating to regulations for the sector. Since July 1 2016, he has served as an Executive Member of the AdP – Águas de Portugal, SGPS, S.A. Board of Directors, with responsibility for financial issues.
