Biography
Ana Isabel Costa is Investigador FCT 2105 Principal Research Associate in Marketing and Consumer Behaviour at CATÓLICA-LISBON since January 2017. She holds a PhD in Consumer Behaviour and New Product Development from Wageningen University, a post-graduate degree in Research Methodology in Business Economics and Management from University of Groningen and Erasmus University Rotterdam, and graduate degrees in Food Quality Management from Ghent University and Food Engineering from Universidade Técnica de Lisboa. Formerly, she was KLEAR Senior Scientist in Consumer Behavior at the Biotechnology School of CATÓLICA-PORTO, Ciência 2007 Research Fellow at CATÓLICA-LISBON and FCT Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Marketing and Statistics of the Aarhus School of Business and at Departamento de Gestão of Universidade de Évora. She was also a Research Fellow at the Livestock Research Institute of Wageningen University, a FCT Doctoral Fellow at Wageningen University and a Category Manager at Grupo Jerónimo Martins. Her research interests are the self-regulation of consumer behaviour, personal norms, food consumption, diet & health, new product development & innovation, and persuasive technology.
